The artificial intelligence (A.I.) "NMsee" will support your search for suspicious tactile exhibits (sensory/tactile exhibits) and exciting information about archaeology, the Stone Age, and our human evolution. Additionally, the A.I. offers an Indoor Navigation Service at the museum.

Within the building, an inclusive infrastructure with a floor guidance system, tactile labels and many interesting new tactile exhibits await you. Your A.I. “NMsee” also offers an accessible route description to the museum.
Are you using a screen reader? For an ideal gaming experience, switch off your screen reader when starting the game. The museum’s A.I. “NMsee” will help you through the entire game. It is also possible to play “Neanderthal: Memories” with active screen reader software if you prefer to do so.
“Neanderthal: Memories” uses beacon technology and QR codes to provide you with location-based game content. Please switch on Bluetooth and location detection while using the game and connect to the museum’s guest WiFi.
"Neanderthal: Memories" was developed from 2019-2021 by research project "NMsee", a cooperation of BSV Nordrhein e.V. and Neanderthal Museum.
